Tell us a bit about yourself
I’m a qualified teacher with over thirty years of experience across education, therapeutic practice and mental health support. My journey has included mainstream and special education, behaviour support services, school leadership and therapeutic work with children and young people experiencing significant distress.
Alongside my work in schools, I trained as an integrative arts psychotherapist and have always been passionate about relational, child-centred approaches that help individuals feel safe enough to flourish. I was also one of the first accredited Safe and Sound Protocol providers in the UK after meeting Dr Stephen Porges in 2017.
Based in Pembrokeshire, I love being by the sea, walking the coast path and spending time in nature.
What do you want everyone to know about TIS courses?
What I value most about TIS courses is the way they combine relationship, reflection and practical understanding in such a human and supportive way.
Favourite joke?
I’m much better at reflective conversations than remembering jokes!
