Tell us a bit about yourself

I’m Siobhán. I am a senior trainer for TISUK. I have over twenty years experience as an SEMH primary teacher, headteacher and consultant. I am Irish, but currently reside in Epping Forest with my husband, our two boys and our dog,

I am a passionate advocate for the transformative power of play for our mental health and am chairperson of a charity that recently raised over £170,000 to rebuild a local playground that has improved access to play for everyone in our community.

What do you want everyone to know about TIS courses?

I’m an honorary member of the welsh TIS team and I'm humbled to be providing training to so many humans who are putting compassion and connection at the heart of their work. I want delegates to know that very often this course is where people tell us they’ve found their tribe, and the relationships and support you gain from colleagues on the diploma is just as valuable as what you learn along the way.

Favourite joke?

My favourite joke (borrowed from my 7 year old!): What do you call a dog magician? A labracadabrador.
