Supervision

Supervision serves to consider the emotional impact that very often exists for practitioners as they work to support young people from a variety of backgrounds. Supervision is purposeful and is intended to help practitioners gain further insight into the emotional landscape, motivations and presenting behaviours of the young people with whom they work. Clear guidance will be given on when or where to refer on to, where necessary.

A supervision log should be submitted annually, or after each supervision session. They should be sent to supervision@traumainformedschools.co.uk and must record the dates and times of sessions; they should be signed by the supervisor (digital signature is ok). Supervision for Practitioners/Practitioners in training is booked in blocks of 3 sessions for £100, or 6 sessions at a cost of £180. Reservation of a place is made through the booking links below and payment is made direct to the supervisor who will be in touch when you have booked a place.

TISCUK now offer the opportunity to be a ‘Registered Trauma Informed Practitioner’ and you can find out more information and costs from supervision@traumainformedschools.co.uk Registration is optional and only required if a practitioner wishes to use the formal title ‘Registered Trauma-Informed Practitioner (TISCUK)' and be included on their public register.
There are no additional costs required to maintain your existing qualification of Trauma Informed Practitioner.
